Principle Responsibilities

Establish, develop and drive the retail strategy to deliver the current and future business goals

Deliver the sales targets through partnerships with direct and indirect channels across the UK and Italy

Lead and inspire the channel partners to achieve the sales targets for TV, Broadband, Mobile, Energy and Insurance services.

Formulate and deliver the channel partner roll-out plan

Negotiate and agree ambitious sales target with each channel

Implement commercially advantageous partnership agreements

Build and develop strategic relationships at director level with the channel partners.

Renegotiate existing agreements and significantly improve commercials to deliver a profitable revenue growth.

Manage the sales activity securing performance across all Channel Partners

Work closely with the product teams and Influence from a retail perspective the product strategy and direction

Develop and lead exceptional service standards to capture every sales opportunity

Exceeding retail KPI’s, establishing best in class leadership of the retail teams and Area Sales Managers

Build awareness of competitor activity locally and nationally and bring to the table information and ideas to challenge and improve our product and service offerings

Through the team of Area Sales Managers drive consistency of approach on all aspects of retail operations to maximise every sales opportunity paying particular attention to stock and cash controls

In partnership with the Area Sales Managers ensure that all stores are compliant in each aspect of health & safety, security, HR and operations.

Required Competences

Previous experience of building and developing indirect sales channels across:

  1. Hiper Markets: Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, etc
  2. Supermarkets: Morrisons, The Cooperative, Costcutter, etc
  3. Discounters: Wilkinson, Poundland, etc
  4. Petrol Stations: BP, Esso, Shell, Texaco, etc
  5. Electronic Retailer: PC World, Dixons, Currys, etc
  6. EPOS: Top-up, Paypoint, Epay, Payzone
  7. Corners Shops / Convenience Stores
  8. Kiosks / Stall in high traffic density areas
  9. Telecom retailers: P4U, CPW, etc
  10. UK Distributors
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals
  • Solid knowledge of the UK retail market
  • Existing account relationships with number of channel partners
  • Managing partners, sales and marketing.
  • Commercially astute and agile with numbers.
  • Tenacity and ability to deliver in an environment of rapid change.
  • Gravitas to influence at most senior level
  • Determined, resilient and controlled under pressure
